Ths site concerns Service of European Churches for International Students (SECIS) brings together institutions that perform activities of benefit to international students (welcoming, pastoral guidance, education, running of students' residences, establishment of grants, assistance in reintegration). It was founded in 1999 on an initiative of the Vatican aimed at co-ordinating the various projects of the Catholic Church in this field and strengthening its presence in the international sector of European universities.
